Cost of Lessons
All ISR Instructors operate independently, setting their pricing based on location and session type. As a result, lesson fees may vary.
The following non-refundable deposits are required to secure your lesson time, and they will be applied to the total program fee:
Initial Session Deposit: $240
Float-to-Swim Deposit: $240
Refresher Deposit: $120
Maintenance Program Deposit: Varies (see link below)
Individual Maintenance Lesson Deposit: $24
Initial Session- $720
This program is designed for new students who have never participated in the ISR program. Depending on age and skill level, students will learn either the Rollback-to-Float or the Swim-Float-Swim sequence. The session typically lasts for 30 lessons, with 10-minute lessons held Monday through Friday.
Please plan for 6 to 8 consecutive weeks from your selected start date, as the average child requires 30 lessons. If your child needs additional lessons beyond the average, there will be no extra tuition charge. Tuition is due in full on the first day of lessons, not weekly.
All lessons are tailored to each student's progress, and we ensure students can self-rescue before completing the program, regardless of the time frame.
IMPORTANT: All students must register with Infant Swimming Resource before beginning lessons. This involves a $105 non-refundable medical registration fee, which is required at the time of submission. The registration process includes yes/no questions about your child’s development and medical history to ensure a safe lesson experience.
Floater-to-Swimmer Session $480+
Floater-to-Swimmer lessons are designed for students who have completed their initial Rollback-to-Float training and are now ready to progress to Swim-Float-Swim!
This session typically lasts between 20-25 lessons, tailored to each child’s needs. Lessons are held Monday through Friday, with each session lasting up to 10 minutes.
An updated medical registration is required, currently priced at $40. This update ensures we have the most current information about your child, as circumstances can change over time, allowing us to maintain the highest level of safety during lessons.
Refresher Session | min. 2 weeks | $240+
Refresher lessons are recommended every six months, as children’s skills need to adapt to their changing height and weight. These sessions help refine their abilities, especially as they may have reached new developmental milestones since their last visit.
The Refresher session lasts for 10 lessons, held Monday through Friday, with each lesson lasting up to 10 minutes.
An updated medical registration is required, currently priced at $40. This update is necessary because circumstances can change, and we want to ensure we provide the safest lesson experience possible.
Maintenance Program
The Maintenance Program is designed for children who have completed their Swim-Float-Swim ISR session with a certified ISR Instructor. These lessons help students retain and strengthen their self-rescue skills and confidence throughout the year, attending lessons at a pre-set time. As your child progresses, we may introduce basic stroke techniques when developmentally appropriate, always ensuring that self-rescue skills remain a priority. All decisions are made with safety at the forefront, considering each child’s age, readiness and interest.
Prerequisite: Skilled, Refresher, or participation in the Maintenance Program in 2024.
